Gonna run to O'Reillys tomorrow and grab some brown spray vinyl die and paint the upper half of my car interior sorta like this picture, but chocolate brown
SO PRETTY. And a lot less beige. Brown is a great color for car interiors.
Trying to decide if I'll be taking the door panels off for painting or not. That seems to be the easier solution instead of masking off the switches and handle and such.
At least it'll give me something to do Saturday, and hopefully make my car look a lot nicer in the process.

I saw a new S60 tonight that was orange and had the brownish orange interior. It was perfect.

Yeah, the light beige of my interior as it is now gets dirty in a hurry and I feel the contrast of the darker color makes it feel more like a lounge instead of a sterile harsh environment.
Or I'm talking out my ass because it's late and I use large words.

Beige is definitely boring, but grey is worse by far. I love brown interiors though.
I'm used to a sea of beige. There isn't much that I can change though.

yeah probably rapid fire ass-talk.
Joking aside I can vouch for that interior getting dirty really easily.

5 rattlecans of dye. Gogogo.

That would require a thorough cleaning and it just isn't worth it. Plus my dash board is mid-90's fucked, so it would be a waste of effort. I'll just wait until that day that I have some spare cash to overnight a JDM Hilux Surf Recaro interior.

Are you having a ghost chauffeur you around?

Or... strip interior for weight savings!

It would be very Mad Max, though

My dad just spent $500 on an alignment for it so... I guess not. Not unless I get a job and buy one myself, and even then I'd have to fight against my dad to do it.

Well that's interesting.

Yup. I love how I've got new hubs, wheels, tires, tie rod ends, and brake discs and the car STILL FUCKING VIBRATES AT 60MPH SON OF A BITCH.

It would make a great parts car for a new car.

Yup, but my dad is of the opinion that you're always better off driving a car that you know the service history of instead of buying a new one. I'm hopefully getting a job where Midengineer works (NAIR, the National Aeronautics Institute of Research) at which point I'll buy a new car this spring.
